Marcia Lebowitz

Marcia Lebowitz, founding director of the Children's Divorce Center, is a licensed, board certified, pediatric social-worker who holds an MSW degree from Simmons College School of Social Work.  She is an adjunct professor at Quinnipiac University School of Law, where she teaches a course titled "Divorce and the Divorcing Family" and she is the author of
I Think Divorce Stinks.

In addition to her one-on-one work with children and parents at the Children's Divorce Center, Marcia writes and lectures extensively on the impact of divorce on children.

She has presented educational programs about children and divorce for the American Bar Association, the state of Connecticut Judicial Branch, Harvard Law School, the  American Academy of Pediatrics, Yale Medical School, Brown University, and the University of Connecticut School of Social Work.

Her work at the Children's Divorce Center has been featured on National Public Radio, ABC World News Tonight, local and national television talk shows, and in The New York Times.
